Data centre and district heating infrastructure at dusk

Investment-ready projects from data centre waste heat

Nearly all the electricity a data centre uses becomes heat. Calentix turns that heat into bankable infrastructure, connecting data centres with district heating networks.

About our company

Where data centres and district heating meet

Data centres produce large amounts of heat around the clock. District heating networks need competitive, low-carbon heat. Calentix has the focus, expertise and commercial model to drive these projects, so our partners can concentrate on what they do best.

We identify and structure viable projects, design the heat recovery installation, arrange the capital structure and secure long-term contracts. Each project is financed separately in a dedicated project company.

Who we work with

Realising the value of heat reuse

Data centres and district heating companies are our operating partners, and we make it easy to realise heat recovery ambitions. Calentix leads each project from origination to operation, aligns all parties and arranges financing through debt, grants and investors. We carry the development risk and make sure the potential is realised.

Investors

Partnering for profitable projects

Calentix develops de-risked, investment-ready infrastructure projects. Each project is financed in a dedicated project company with debt, grants and investor equity, and backed by long-term contracts. Inspired by wind and solar developers, our Independent Heat Producer model gives investors access to scalable, low-carbon infrastructure with predictable, contract-based cash flows.
